The Kanab Center
about the founders
Jeff and Britt Roth are a husband and wife creative team. Jeff received his Masters of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art Design and is an award-winning filmmaker. Britt was a corporate, wedding and festival event planner in Austin, TX. They own a boutique RV campground in Kanab, Dark Sky RV, and are very involved in the local community.
When they first discovered Kanab in 2018, its rich movie history was very apparent, and it was surprising that a multi-day film fest didn't already exist.
In April 2019, they hosted the inaugural event with much success, and are now entering into the third annual Kanab Film Fest.
We were very proud to be the first in-person Film Fest of 2020 because we believe that it is so important to provide the proper stage for up and coming filmmakers, it was that important for us to make it happen safely.
And this year is no different!
All in-person attendees of the Kanab Film Fest are required to adhere to local and otherwise official guidelines regarding COVID-19. We encourage attendees to social distance, wear masks and wash/sanitize their hands where advised. We request that anyone who becomes sick or gets exposed to someone with COVID-19 stay home.
If this is or becomes a barrier to you, we’re excited to offer a virtual experience so everyone can feel safe and included at this year’s festival. If you planned on attending in-person and you become unable, reach out to us.
